I would love to share a beautiful children's book by our Londonderry neighbor, Katherine Lockwood. Why Me, Mama is a book about the disability experience, whether seen or unseen by others.
It was such a pleasure to meet Katherine, you can read more about her on her website below. Be sure to stop by the library to check out Why Me, Mama, which was generously donated to us by the Author. We have been awarded a matching grant of $7,500 to tackle drainage problems at our building’s southwest corner. This has been accomplished through the efforts and dedication of the South Londonderry Free Library Board of Trustees. A special thank you goes out to Pam Abraham for spearheading this process and Welthy Myers for her expertise. We are so grateful to receive these funds to assist in preserving our historic building!
