For over 20 years the children of our mountain towns have gathered together at the South Londonderry Free Library to make presents for family and friends with art teacher Casey Junker Bailey. Although we can't meet together this year, the tradition continues. Art kits will be delivered to the Library on Saturday, Dec. 11. Families are invited to stop by the Library to pick up a kit and get access to the video demonstration done by Casey. Kindness elves, holiday collages, and shooting star ornaments are all part of the fun. Supplies are limited. For more information call the Library at (802) 824-3371.
Our stunning Holiday Book Tree is up once again! We want to give a big thanks to Laura Megroz for designing and making both the tree and vintage repurposed books that will be for sale up until the end of the year. Don't miss out on these one of a kind holiday presents!
Thanks also to Sherry Clark and Pam Abraham for assisting with the build, and to Express Copy for the donation of paper for all of the repurposed books.
All proceeds benefit the South Londonderry Free Library.
